[Verse 1]
There's a wolf in the pale moon light
She stands alone as she prepares to fight
A bad spirit for all regrets
She is broken, but she ain't dead yet

[Pre-Chorus]
Over her broken bones and body
She'll fight and she's finally ready
This life is ready for the taking
She's taking it back

[Chorus]
Oh, tonight
She's gonna take what's hers
And she will fight
Because she's lived and learned
She's gonna sing tonight
Gonna fight
Oh, this time
She's not afraid to die
She's not afraid to die

[Verse 2]
Alone is a scary place
But her soul, she won't let him take
All she wants is her freedom to be a wild spirit
But he loves to watch her bleed

[Pre-Chorus]
Over her broken bones and body
She'll fight and she's finally ready
This life is ready for the taking
She's taking it back

[Chorus]
Oh, tonight
She's gonna take what's hers
And she will fight
Because she's lived and learned
She's gonna sing tonight
Gonna fight
Oh, this time
She's not afraid to die
She's not afraid to die

[Bridge: Spoken]
Men who despise you and slave you. Who regiment your life. Tell you what to do what to think or what to feel? Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men. Machine men, with machine minds, and machine hearts. You are not machines. You have the power to make this life free and beautiful

[Verse 3]
Oh, tonight (The way of life, to be free and beautiful, beautiful)
I need to just be heard (Free and beautiful)
I will fight (The way of life to be free and beautiful)
'Cause I've lived and learned
I'm gonna sing tonight
Gonna fight
Oh, this time, oh

[Outro]
I'm not afraid to die
I'm not afraid to die

Kesha

Kesha Rose Sebert, whose mononymous stage name was previously spelled Ke$ha, is an American singer-songwriter best known for hits like “Tik Tok” and “Praying.” Her mother, Pebe Sebert is also a songwriter, and the two have worked together on songs like “Learn to Let Go.”

In 2005, at age eighteen, Kesha signed a record deal with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records. Her first major recording was an uncredited feature on Flo Rida’s 2009 hit “Right ‘Round,” which she recorded after walking into a session between Flo and Dr. Luke. She released her debut album, Animal, the next year, after choosing from hundreds of songs, and the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Lead single “Tik Tok” broke the record for the longest time for a female artist’s debut single to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Nine months after Animal dropped, Kesha rereleased it alongside Cannibal, an extended play featuring hits like “We R Who We R,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Blow.” In February 2011, Kesha kicked off her Get Sleazy Tour, which travelled through the Americas, Europe, and Australia. During the tour, she began writing for her sophomore album, Warrior, which was released in November 2012. She then embarked on a world tour, and was joined by future “Timber” collaborator Pitbull on the North American leg.
