You do me wrong but still I'm crazy 'bout you
Stay away too long and I can't live without you
Every chance you get you seem to hurt me more and more
But each hurt makes my love stronger than before

Only flowers grow from rain
How can love grow from pain?

Ain't that peculiar?
Peculiar as can be
Ain't that peculiar?
That's what it is to me, hey

You tell me lies that you'd be honest to me
But there's so much lovin' to see
But the things you do and say are designed to make me blue
And it's a doggone shame my love for you makes all your lies seem true

But if truth makes love last longer
Why do lies make my love stronger, hey

Ain't that peculiar?
Peculiar as can be
Ain't that peculiar?
That's what it is to me, hey yeah

Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Hey yeah (hey yeah)
Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Hey yeah (hey yeah)
Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Hey yeah (hey yeah)
Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Hey yeah (hey yeah)
Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Ah, ah, ah (ah, ah, ah)
Hey yeah

If love can last through years
How can love last through tears?

Ain't that peculiar?
Peculiar as can be
Ain't that peculiar?
That's what it is to me

Ain't that peculiar?
Oh yeah, that's what it is
Ain't that peculiar?
Oh, come on

(Whoa)
(Whoaa
(Whoa)
Yeah
