[Verse 1]
Sometimes it's easy, it's meant to be
I dream of the moment you'll be with me
'Cause I wanna look down now
I wanna get deeper
Can you let me in
To show me places, to be my keeper?
I'm waiting for my seraphim

[Chorus]
Oh, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
Yeah, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel

[Verse 2]
My heart is ready, my mind is open
My body's aching, I'll wait for you
'Cause I wanna rise up now
Don't wanna be earthbound
Reach up to the sky
Into the distance a new future
It's waiting for me in your eyes

[Chorus]
I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
Yeah, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
(I'm waiting, I'm waiting)
I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
Yeah, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel

[Bridge]
And when good things are good I want to share them
I don't want to be alone
And when darkness falls, will you hear my call
And show me the way back home?
'Cause I want this life, to be twice as nice
With somebody by my side
So I dream of things like your golden wings
When you carry me in flight

'Cause I wanna look down now
I wanna get deeper
Can you let me in
To show me places, to be my keeper?
I'm waiting for my seraphim

[Chorus]
I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
Yeah, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
Oh, I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
(I'm waiting, I'm waiting for you)
I'm looking for an angel, for an angel
I'm looking for an angel
(I'm waiting, I'm waiting)
(I'm waiting, I'm waiting for you)

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
