Loon made his first appearance on Brand Nubian’s 1998 song “Back Up Off The Wall.” His first taste of stardom came as a member of Ma$e’s seven-person group Harlem World in 1999. In 2001, Loon collaborated with Puff Daddy on his #2 pop hit “I Need A Girl Part 1” and #4 pop hit “I Need A Girl Part 2.”

Loon’s 2002 debut album peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200, led by the minor hit “Down For Me.” Loon also appeared on several R&B songs, including “Hit The Freeway,” the lead single from Toni Braxton’s 2002 album More Than A Woman.
