[Intro]
I need it, need it, need it
Honey, you can have me
Honey, you can have me when you want me
Honey, you can have me

[Verse 1]
Honey, you can have me when you want me
If you simply ask me to be there
Every time you call me I come runnin' (Runnin')
'Cause what you got is far beyond compare

[Pre-Chorus]
And it's just like honey
When your love comes over me (Comes over me)
Oh baby, I've got a dependency (I've got a dependency)
Always strung out for another taste of your honey

[Chorus]
It's like honey when it washes over me
You know sugar never ever was so sweet
And I'm dyin' (Dyin') for ya, cryin' (Cryin') for ya, I adore ya
One hit of your love addicted me
Now I'm strung out on you, darlin', don't you see?
Every night and day
I can hardly wait for another taste of honey

[Post-Chorus]
Honey, I can't describe
How good it feels inside

[Verse 2]
Oh, I can't be elusive with you, honey (Honey)
'Cause it's blatant that I'm feelin' you (That I'm feelin' you)
And it's too hard for me to leave abruptly
'Cause you're the only thing I wanna do
(You're the only thing I wanna do)

[Pre-Chorus]
And it's just like honey
When your love comes over me (When your love)
Oh baby, I've got a dependency (I've got a dependency)
Always strung out for another taste of your honey

[Chorus]
It's like honey when it washes over me
You know sugar never ever was so sweet
And I'm dyin' for ya, cryin' for ya, I adore ya
One hit of your love addicted me
(One hit of your love addicted me)
Now I'm strung out on you, darlin', don't you see?
Every night and day
I can hardly wait for another taste of honey

[Post-Chorus]
Honey, I can't describe
How good it feels inside (So good inside)
Honey, I can't describe
How good it feels inside
Baby, I can hardly wait
Gotta have another taste
I can hardly wait
Gotta have another taste

[Break]
It's like honey
It's like honey
It's like honey
It's like honey
And it's just like honey (It's like honey, honey, honey)
When your love comes over me (Honey)
Oh baby, I've got a dependency (Ooh)
Always strung out for another taste of your honey

[Chorus]
It's like honey when it washes over me
You know sugar never ever was so sweet
And I'm dyin' for ya, cryin' for ya, I adore ya
One hit of your love addicted me
(One hit of your love addicted me)
Now I'm strung out on you, darlin', don't you see? (It's like honey)
Every night and day (It's like honey)
I can hardly wait for another taste of honey

[Post-Chorus]
It's like honey (Honey, honey)
It's like honey
Honey, honey
It's like honey
It's like honey
It's like honey
Honey
It's like honey
It's like honey

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and philanthropist.

Under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, Carey released her self-titled debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990; it went multi-platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993 and success with hit records “Emotions” (1991), “Music Box” (1993), and “Merry Christmas” (1994), Carey was established as Columbia’s highest-selling act. Daydream (1995) made music history when its second single “One Sweet Day”, a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history, along with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” During the recording of the album, Carey began to deviate from her R&B and pop beginnings and slowly traversed into hip hop. This musical change became evident with the release of Butterfly (1997), at which time Carey had separated from Mottola.
