[Spoken Intro]
Were about to debut a medley of songs
Songs we recorded quite a few years back
We sincerely hope that they're still your favorites and that you enjoy them
Gonna dedicate these to all you wonderful folks out there

Can I Get A Witness

[Verse]
Ah, listen everybody, especially you girls
Tell me, is it right to be left alone
While the one you love is never home?
I love too hard, my friends sometimes say
But I believe, I believe
A woman should be loved that way
But it hurts me so inside
To see her treat me so unkind
So somebody, somewhere, I want to tell her it ain't fair
I need a witness

You're A Wonderful One

[Verse]
You are so wonderful
That being near you is all that I'm living for
You show me more kindness in little ways
Than I've ever known in all my days
Tell me we'll stay together
Let me love you forever
'Cause you're a wonderful one
You're wonderful, baby, yeah, ah

Stubborn Kind Of Fellow

[Intro]
Yeah, ah, singing yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah yeah, oh, woo
Singing yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah yeah, have mercy

[Verse]
I try to put my arms around you
All because I wanna hold you tight
But every time I reach for you, baby
And try to kiss you, you jump out of sight
I've got news for you
A-little girl, little girl, I've made plans for two

[Chorus]
I guess I'm just a stubborn kind of fellow
Got my mind made up to love you
Did you hear me?

[Outro]
Oh, singing yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah yeah
It's alright, woo
Singing yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah yeah
I wanna have everybody sing that one time with me
Say yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah yeah
I know, I know, I know
Singing yeah yeah yeah, and yeah yeah

Baby Don't You Do It

[Intro]
Ah, baby don't you do it, oh, don't do it, babe
Don't break my heart, honey, don't do i
Don't break my heart, oh, don't do it
Don't you break my heart now now
Don't you do it, don't break my heart now now
Listen

[Verse]
Go down to the river and there I'll be
I'm gonna jump in, baby, if you don't see 'bout me

Try It Baby

[Verse]
And now you're moving on up, pretty baby
You're leaving me behind
Everybody seems to love you
Girl, you're doing just fine, fine, fine

[Chorus]
Take away your good looks
And all your fancy clothes
Why don't you just try it, baby
Try it, baby
Try it, baby
You got to try it, baby
Oh, you'll see na-na-na-nobody loves you but me
Ah, nobody loves you but me

One More Heartache

[Verse]
Ah, one more heartache, I can't take it
My heart is carryin' such a heavy load
One more ache would break it
Just like the camel with the heavy pack
One last straw was added, they say it broke the camel's back

[Outro]
I, I, I can't stand it, I can't take it
No no, honey, I can't stand it
Not a, not a, not a, not another heartache
Why would you wanna break my heart?
I wanna know why you wanna break my heart
Tell me, honey, why why why
I can't take it, I can't take it
No, no, no, no, no, no, woo-hoo-hoo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, woo-hoo-ooh
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, ow
I, yi, yi, yi, yi, oh I, I couldn't stand it
Don't I love you? Don't I love you?
Don't I love you, baby? Don't I love you?
I, I've been loving you since you was five-years-old
I need you, darling, ow
I, yi, yi, yi, yi, oh I, couldn't take another one
Not another heartache, no, no, no
Not another heartache, no, no, no, ooh

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen

Marvin Gaye

Marvin Gaye was one of the most consistent and enigmatic of the Motown hitmakers, with a career that exemplified the maturation of black pop into a sophisticated form spanning social and sexual politics.

Blessed with a mellifluous tenor and a three-octave vocal range, Gaye was among the most gifted composers and singers of his era. His life ended tragically one day before his 45th birthday, when he was shot to death by his father, an Apostolic preacher, after a violent argument.
