Yes
It’s just beautiful music, ladies and gentlemen
Turn the music up louder

MJB, the voice

[Verse 1: Mary J]
I'm coming for ya, I ain't wasting time
Because all night long, you've been on my mind
Hope you're ready, baby, 'cause I'm on my way
You talk a real good one, but let's see today

[Pre-Chorus: Mary J]
I just wanna see what you're made of (I just wanna see)
Can you handle me, are you really tough?
(Are you really that tough?)
Lovers come and go, so what you gonna go?
(What you gon' do, baby?)
Boy, this ain't no joke, it's time to show and prove
(Show me, show me)

[Chorus: Mary J]
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
No, you can't, babe
I'ma make you want
(I'ma make you want, make you want)
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
It's too strong, babe
I'ma make you want
(I'ma make you want, make you want)
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me

[Verse 2: Mary J]
Now that I gotcha, this is what I'm gon' do
Boy, I need your body to move like I move
Wrap your arms around me and don't be shy
What you feel is a real woman, probably for the first time

[Pre-Chorus: Mary J]
I just wanna see what you're made of
(Can you show me, please?)
Can you handle me, are you really tough?
(Can you handle me, baby?)
Lovers come and go, so what you gonna do?
(What are you gon' do, baby?)
Boy, this ain't no joke, it's time to show and prove
(Show me)

[Chorus: Mary J & Jay-Z]
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
No, you can't, babe
I'ma make you want
(I'ma make you want, make you want)
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
It's too strong, babe
I'ma make you want
(I'ma make you want, make you want)
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
That's that knock

[Interlude: Mary J & Jay-Z]
My love, my love
My love, my love
My love, ooh, woah
It's a beautiful thing

[Chorus: Mary J]
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
No, you can't, babe
I'ma make you want
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
It's too strong, babe
I'ma make you want
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
No, you can't, babe
I'ma make you want
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me
You can't hide from love (Hide from love)
It's too strong, babe
I'ma make you want
Make you want my love
What you waitin' on? Come to me

[Post-Chorus: Mary J]
You can't hide from love
'Cause it's comin' to getcha
Oh, yes it is

Turn the music up loud
You can't hide from love
MJB, the voice

You can't hide from love

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
