[Verse 1]
Take my hand
Lead me to another place
I never been
I wanna be, be released, set me free
I'm not talking about letting me go
But I'm just talking 'bout pulling me close
To where I bodies are becoming as one
Turn off the lights 'cause, boy, we've just begun, oh

[Chorus]
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
(I feel like makin' sweet, sweet love to you)
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight

[Verse 2]
Here I am
I'm all yours for tonight
But every night
It could be you and I for a lifetime
Could have stayed all to myself
And play the game like everybody else
But boy I want you and that's no lie
Because you keep me so satisfied

[Chorus]
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
(Hey baby, come make me feel alright)

[Bridge]
It would be nice if you spend the night
(It would be nice)
Ain't nothing if you're treating me right
Why don't we take it nice and slow?
(Take it nice and slow)
Hold on tight and baby don't let go
(Baby, hold on)
It would be nice if you spend the night
Ain't nothing if you're treating me right
Why don't we take it nice and slow?
(Take it nice and slow)
Hold on tight and baby don't let go
(Hold on, hold on, here we go)

[Chorus]
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
(I feel like, I feel like makin' love to my baby)

[Bridge]
It would be nice if you spend the night
(It would be nice)
Ain't nothing if you're treating me right
(Ain't nothing wrong with you holding me, boy)
Why don't we take it nice and slow?
(Take it nice and slow)
Hold on tight and baby don't let go
(Better hold on tight)
It would be nice if you spend the night
(It's gonna be a long night, hey hey)
Ain't nothing if you're treating me right
(Ain't nothing wrong with you treating me)
Why don't we take it nice and slow?
(Ooh, take it nice and slow, nice and slow)
Hold on tight and baby don't let go

[Chorus]
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight
Feel like makin' love all through the night
All through the night, come hold me tight

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
