[Intro]
I can remember when
We had, we had it all (Reminisce on the love we had)
You and I, you and I (Reminisce on the love we had)
Yeah
Ooh, you know we had it all
You and I (Reminisce on the love we had)
Yeah

[Chorus]
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had

[Verse 1]
I know that we've been here before
The candlelight and you, walking softly through my door
Come on in my sweet, how have you been?
You're so nice, but tonight, we're gonna be more than just friends

[Pre-Chorus]
I recall the days and ways of love we made
I still feel the heat when we share each other
Don't you feel the magic? The mystery's in the air
Let's go down to lover's lane with the love we shared

[Chorus]
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had
(Reminisce, Reminisce Reminisce)
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had

[Verse 2]
I can see you standing there alone, like an angel
Tryin' to find his way home
I don't remember, how we fell apart
Here we are again, come on, ride into my heart

[Pre-Chorus]
I recall the days and ways of love we made
I still feel the heat when we share each other
Don't you feel the magic? The mystery's in the air
Let's go down to lover's lane with the love we shared

[Chorus]
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had
(Reminisce, Reminisce)
Let's make the time tonight
While the feeling's right
Reminisce on the love we had

[Bridge]
Make the time tonight
The feeling's oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Make the time tonight
The feeling's oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Make the time tonight
The feeling's oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Make the time tonight
The feeling's oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight

[Post-Chorus]
Ooh, Mary
Reminisce

[Bridge (Background)]
Let's make the time tonight
Feeling is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Let's make the time tonight
Feeling is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Let's make the time tonight
Feeling is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight
Let's make the time tonight
Feeling is oh so right
Reminisce on the love we had
Make the time tonight

[Verse 1 & Bridge]
I know that we've been here before
The candlelight and you, walking softly through my door
C'mon in my sweet
Tonight we're gonna be more than friends
Feelings right my, my sweet baby, baby, baby
I can see you standing there like an angel
Oh boy, ooh reminisce, reminisce on the love we had

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
