[Intro: Kwamé]
Mayday, mayday, I need you to turn this thing up
Turn-turn-turn this thing up, and make noise
Mr. Mef, Mr. Mef, Kwamé, Kwamé
Let's go, let's go
What we about to do right now is

[Chorus: Kwamé & Method Man]
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Time to lose it, y'all, and do it to the music, just
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Ain't nothin' to it if you put your back into it and
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
I'll walk you through it, let you know just how to do it
The M-E-T-H, yes, I OD it
Get you high like I'm light to the day, I OD

[Verse 1: Method Man]
Okay, let's get it on (Who wanna get it on?)
Let it pop like Perignon (Who wanna get it on?)
Hit right, don't get wrong, got it, now get gone
Any dog tryin' to shit on my lawn get shit upon
Can you smell the herb smoke in my clothes?
I'm a jerk and it shows
Chicks be dancin' like they workin' the pole
Back to Meth, man, I'm hurtin' 'em, though
Fuck a knock, I burst in the door
You want it? I'm the person to know
Let muthafuckas take it personal
'Cause half this industry suck dick or hope to be the first to blow
Man, I'm witty, unpredictable - on any track I rule
It don't take much for me to act a fool and just

[Chorus: Kwamé & Method Man]
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Time to lose it, y'all, and do it to the music, just
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Ain't nothin' to it if you put your back into it and
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
I'll walk you through it, let you know just how to do it
The M-E-T-H, yes, I OD it
Get you high like I'm light to the day, I OD

[Verse 2: Method Man]
My nigga, roll with it, flow with it, push the six-four with it
Low-low kitted, wood finish, hood and it show
Flow with it, blow with it, see that dough, go get it
What I do with it, though, ain't none of your business
Yo, spit when he talkin' in tongues?
You'd be amazed how often it come
That piff got me coughin' up lungs
I'm tryin' to get bread (Y'all offerin' crumbs)
Like y'all ain't tryin' to see Meth lickin' his thumb while he sortin' his ones, trick
Flow 'bout as hot as the sun get, my blunt lit
And I don't hit the track, I run shit (I'm slum, bitch)
Fuck y'all, never did trust y'all, back to ready to bust off
Kickin' that dust off, you know I just

[Chorus: Kwamé & Method Man]
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Time to lose it, y'all, and do it to the music, just
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Ain't nothin' to it if you put your back into it and
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
I'll walk you through it, let you know just how to do it
The M-E-T-H, yes, I OD it
Get you high like I'm light to the day, I OD

[Verse 3: Method Man]
I'm an equal opportunity ass-kicker
These ass-lickin', brown-nosin' rappers is ass-kissers
Who need they cash quicker than a sip in the glass slippers
Then pass liquor 'til he pass out, I'm that nigga
Mami got that hourglass figure who back bigger than crack
Mr. Mef, ain't know I did it like that, did ya?
If the track is iller, then the rap realer, Meth, the fact spiller
Wu Killa Beez slash Gilla
Now that we're up in it, I might just spit, I'm nice, they shit
If death's a motherfucker, life's a bitch, ain't it?
Young, Black, and dangerous, my gun double lead that spit bangers
That leave you on the edge of your seat like cliffhangers, and I

[Chorus: Kwamé & Method Man]
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Time to lose it, y'all, and do it to the music, just
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
Ain't nothin' to it if you put your back into it and
OD on 'em, OD on 'em, OD on 'em
I'll walk you through it, let you know just how to do it
The M-E-T-H, yes, I OD it
Get you high like I'm light to the day, I OD

Method Man

Method Man (born Clifford Smith on March 2, 1971) is a Grammy-winning rapper and actor who is one of the breakout members of Staten Island’s Wu-Tang Clan. On their seminal 1993 debut album Enter the 36 Chambers, Mr. Mef made his name known with his namesake solo track among other standout appearances throughout the album. He was also the first member of the group to release a solo album when he put out Tical in 1994.

In 1996, Method Man won a Grammy with Mary J. Blige in the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group category for their collaboration “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need.” Meth has gone on to release several solo albums while continuing to contribute to Wu-Tang projects, and he also released two collaborative albums with his partner-in-rhyme Redman in 1999 (Blackout!) and 2009 (Blackout! 2).

He parlayed his success in the music business into television and film roles. He has appeared in The Wire, Belly, The Breaks, The Deuce, Luke Cage, and he’s the host of the rap battle TV show Drop the Mic. He also starred alongside Redman in their short-lived FOX sitcom Method & Red and the movie How High, which is named after their 1995 collaboration. He has also been featured in multiple Def Jam fighting video games, including Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam Fight For NY.
