[Intro]
A-one, a-two
Oh yeah

[Verse 1]
Did you ever get hurt by the words people say
And the things that they do when they're picking on you?
Did you ever get sad by the games that they play
When they're making you feel like a rusty old wheel?

[Chorus]
It's been left in the rain
Who cares what the idiots say?
Who cares what the idiots do?
Who cares about the pain in your heart?
Who cares about you?
I do

[Bridge]
'Cause you're worth much more
Of that, you can be sure
No need to hide
The love you've got inside

[Verse 2]
Did you ever get lost in the heart of a crowd
And the people around keep on pushing you down? (Hmm)
Is it driving you mad and you're screaming out loud
And you're wondering who's going to recognise you?

[Chorus]
You're a ghost in the dark
Who cares what the idiots say?
Who cares what the idiots do?
Who cares about the pain in your heart?
Who cares about you?

[Chorus]
Who cares what the idiots say?
Who cares what the idiots do?
Who knows about the pain in your heart?
Who cares about you?
I do

[Outro]
You've been left in the rain

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
