[Verse 1]
Waitin', watchin' the clock
It's four o'clock
It's got to stop
Tell him, "take no more"
She practices her speech as he opens the door
She rolls over
Pretends to sleep as he looks her over

[Chorus]
She lies and says she's in love with him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Oh

[Verse 2]
Talking to herself
"There's no one else who needs to know"
She tells herself, hey-yeah
Memories back when she was bold and strong
And waiting for the world to come along
Swears she knew him, now she swears he's gone

[Chorus]
She lies and says she's in love with him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
She lies and says she still loves him
Can't find a better man
She dreams in color, she dreams in red
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man

[Bridge]
She loved him, yeah
She don't want to leave this way
She feeds him, yeah
That's why she'll be back again

[Chorus]
Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man (Can't find a better man)
Can't find a better man

[Interlude]
Woah-oah-oah-oah
Woah-oah-oah-oah-oah-oah-oah-oah
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Ah-ha, ah-ha, ah-ha, ah-ha

[Spoken Word: Eddie Vedder]
I hate to be one of those singers that go, "C'mon," but hey fuck
C'mon!

[Interlude 2: Eddie Vedder & (Audience)]
Woah-oah-oah-yeah
(Woah-oah-oah-yeah)
Woah-oah-oah-yeah
(Woah-oah-oah-yeah)
Don't run away (Don't Run away)
Don't run away (Don't Run away)
Don't run away (Don't Run away)
Don't run away (Don't Run away)
Don't run away (Don't Run away), Don't run away (Don't Run away)
Don't run away, runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Don't-
Mm, oh, mm, oh, mm, oh, mm, oh
Mm, oh-oh-oh

Pearl Jam

Founded in 1990 in Seattle, Pearl Jam is one of the most successful bands out of the grunge movement, if not of the whole alternative rock scene from the early 90s. The group started with Stone Gossard (guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass), veterans of the proto-grunge scene, recording a demo along with local guitarist Mike McCready. Once the tape passed along, it attracted a San Diego-based singer, Eddie Vedder. Along with drummer Dave Krusen, they signed with Epic Records and released Ten in 1991, which by the following year was becoming one of the most successful debut albums ever.

Growing uncomfortable with success, the following albums went for a more anguished and experimental sound, and the band’s notorious activism had its most prominent case once they boycotted Ticketmaster, accusing them of price-gouging fans. In the meantime, various drummers passed through the band, with percussion only settling once Soundgarden’s Matt Cameron joined them in the tour for 1998’s Yield.

With 10 studio albums and various live recordings (including “Official Bootlegs” of basically every concert the band performed since 2000), Pearl Jam has sold nearly 32 million records in the U.S. and an estimated 60 million worldwide.
