Released: September 24, 2021

Featuring: Blake Shelton

[Intro: Blake Shelton]
Just let off the clutch real easy, easy
Three, four

[Verse 1: RaeLynn & Blake Shelton]
Yeah, some girls when they turn sixteen
Get a bright red Mustang GT
Some get a Bug (Ooh), some get a Jeep
Some got a daddy with some pockets real deep (Mm-hmm)
But I grew up out in the woods
Where something like that wouldn't do you no good (Naw man)
Most of the roads, still ain't paved
It's a little bumpy but I like it that way

[Chorus: RaeLynn & Blake Shelton, Blake Shelton]
That's why I got a truck sitting in the driveway
Tracking that mud up and down the highway
I can haul ass, I can haul hay
I can fill 'er up every time I get paid
The view's just better up on 35's
Ain't a dirt road 'round here it can't ride
I can get you out, if you get stuck
Tailgate down, make a little love
That's why I got a truck (Haha)

[Verse 2: Blake Shelton, RaeLynn, Both]
Top of last week had to put 'er in the shop
Turns out the damn transmission done dropped
Spent the past week, rolling in a rental
Seat leaned back in a Lincoln Continental (Aw hell)
Counting down the days, 'til I pick ‘er up
This two-wheel drive don't get the job done
Sure, it's got an HD screen on the dash
But it ain't even got a hitch on the back

[Chorus: RaeLynn & Blake Shelton, Blake Shelton]
That's why I got a truck sitting in the driveway
Tracking that mud up and down the highway
I can haul ass, I can haul hay
I can fill 'er up every time I get paid
The view's just better up on 35's
Ain't a dirt road 'round here it can't ride
I can get you out, if you get stuck
Tailgate down, make a little love
That's why I got a truck (Whew)

[Instrumental Break / Guitar Solo]

[Bridge: RaeLynn, with Blake Shelton]
Yeah, y'all keep that Mercedes, 'cause this girl just ain't a fan (No, I ain’t)
Yeah, out here all the ladies still love a pickup man (Yep)

[Chorus: Blake Shelton, RaeLynn, Both]
That's why I got a truck sitting in the driveway
Tracking that mud up and down the highway
I can haul ass, I can haul hay
I can fill 'er up every time I get paid
The view's just better up on 35's (Up on 35's)
Ain't a dirt road 'round here it can't ride (Ain't a road I can't ride)
I can get you out, if you get stuck
Tailgate down, make a little love
That's why I got a truck (That's why I got a truck)
That's why I got a truck (You know)
So I can back it up, oh yeah
That's why I got a truck (Come on, Blake), uh

[Outro: Blake Shelton & RaeLynn]
Hey Rae, back that thing up here
The truck Rae, back the truck up
Hahahahaha
