[Verse 1]
Hollywood is waltzing
Doing that double talking
Anything they could do
To make it through another L.A. night

[Chorus]
And can you imagine
All those girls are strolling
All the boys are holding
They're doing their best to
Make it through another L.A. night
In a picture show life

[Verse 2]
In their own little world
In their own little space
They can be who they want to
In their own little place
Hollywood is reeling
With the double meaning
Anything they could say to
Make it through another L.A. night

[Chorus]
And can you imagine
All the girls are smiling
All the boys are trying
Anything they can take to
Burn away another L.A. night
In a picture show life

[Verse 3]
They win and they lose
And they pick and they choose
They've been dancing for so long
What else can they do?
Hollywood is rocking
Doing the double talking
Anything they can do
To make it through another L.A. night

[Chorus]
And can you imagine
All those girls are strolling
All those boys are holding
They're doing their best to
Make it through another L.A. night
In a picture show life

[Outro]
In their own little world
In their own little space
They can be who they want to
In their own little place
They can be who they want to
In their own little place
They can be who they want to

Ringo Starr

Best known as the drummer for The Beatles, Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey, 1940) also had a moderately successful solo career (with hits like “It Don’t Come Easy” and “Photograph”) and was the narrator for Thomas The Tank Engine.

His country-infused nickname emerged from a tendency to wear rings on his fingers.
