(Where we met on Christmas Eve)

[Verse 1]
She's an aristo, I'm working class
And I treated her real bad
I never got to apologise
About the man who made you sad

I know I said a lot 'cause I was wired
When you're young you're a machine
We were drinking with the Idlewild
In the days of speed, and we met on Christmas Eve

[Chorus]
We drank until the morning light
Like we were never going home
And we sang a song a million sing
Just like we scored a goal

I must've made promises I couldn't keep
But if you trust the fool then the fool you will be
But I looked into your eyes and sold you a dream
Then we fled the scene where we met on Christmas Eve

[Verse 2]
Then I moved into her big old house
I never been to Saint John's Wood
There were movie stars and media types
We were all up to no good

And we all said a lot 'cause we were wild
What a twisted web we weave (What a twisted web we weave)
We were living with the Idlewild
In the days of speed, and we met on Christmas Eve

[Chorus]
We drank until the morning light
Like we were never going home
And we sang a song a million sing
Just like we scored a goal

I must've made promises I couldn't keep
But if you trust the fool then the fool you will be
But I looked into your eyes and sold you a dream
Then we fled the scene where we met on Christmas Eve

[Bridge]
I know who you're with, and I know where you are
I know you found love and you deserved it
I was just a kid, but I know what I did
I ask for forgiveness if I'm worth it

[Chorus]
We drank until the morning light
Like we were never going home
And we sang a song a million sing
Just like we scored a goal

I must've made promises I couldn't keep
But if you trust the fool then the fool you will be
But I looked into your eyes and sold you a dream
Then we fled the scene where we met on Christmas Eve

[Outro]
(Da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Where we met on Christmas Eve)
(Da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Where we met on Christmas Eve)

Robbie Williams

One of Britain’s biggest pop acts, Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter. He originally rose to fame in boy band Take That but left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career.

He released his debut album, Life Thru a Lens, in 1997. Although slow to take off, after the success of single “Angels”, the album rose to No.1 in the UK charts. Then his second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, became an even bigger success. Released in 1998, it produced hits “Millennium”, “Strong” and “She’s the One”.

His success continued on third album Sing When You’re Winning, released in 2000, which contains hits “Rock DJ”, “Kids” and “Supreme”; fourth album Swing When You’re Winning (2001) a compilation of big band standards, with single “Somethin' Stupid”; fifth album Escapology (2002), which contains the hit “Feel”; sixth album Intensive Care (2005) with hits “Tripping” and “Sin Sin Sin”.
