[Verse 1]
You got a hold on me, you're standing over me
Sometimes I hardly breathe at all
I need a little room, I need a lot of moon
I gotta find it soon or I'll fall
Into the emptiness, Into the dark abyss
Too deep to climb the walls
Sometimes I wanna flee, but that could never be
You got a hold on me

[Chorus]
You got a hold on me
And I'm dancing to your song
You got a hold on me
And it's my heart you're holding on

[Verse 2]
You got the sweetest smile, you got a certain style
And i can never get enough
Of the way you move, and the way we groove
When it's feeling right to the touch
Then you turn around, and you stomp me down
And you want to call it love
You know it makes me bleed, but I could never leave
You got a hold on me

[Chorus]
You got a hold on me
And I'm dancing to your song
You got a hold on me
And it's my heart you're holding on
You got a hold on me
And I'm dancing to your song
You got a hold on me
And it's my heart you're holding on

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
