[Verse 1]
You let me go
You had to have her
You told me slow
I died faster
Than I could know
Love would ever Kill
You said "Take care, don't be sad girl"
Life's not fair
It's a mad world
But I'm not mad
I've already downed that pill

[Chorus]
I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
Tonight
I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
For now

[Verse 2]
I broke down
All you did was stand there
Without a sound
It came from nowhere
The truth so loud
Oh, my heart stood still

[Verse 3]
I was not your dream
The one you wanted
I tried to scream
But silence haunted
Me in my sleep
Oh, and probably always will

[Chorus]
I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
Tonight
Oh, I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
For now

[Verse 4]
No one
Comes undone the way I do
When it comes to you
And who knows
How close
I was to the end
But I got back up again

[Bridge]
Oh, I'm still breathing
I'm alright
Oh, I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
Oh, I'm right
I'm gonna be

[Chorus]
I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
Tonight
I'm alive
I think I'm gonna be okay
I'm alright
For now

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
