[Verse 1]
I just can't sleep so I get in my car and I drive
I'm on the 101 and I'm cruising by to 105
Got the radio cranked and the rhythm is coming alive

[Chorus 1]
Got the wind in my face and I'm ready to take on the night
Not a worry in sight and the DJ is rocking me right
Things are starting to shake but hold on because I ain't going to break

[Verse 2]
Red light in the rear view mirror
(Well hey you, pull it over here)
He says miss just step away from the car
(Hands on your head move and you're dead)
But officer

[Chorus 2]
The rhythm made me do it
The rhythm got me high
The rhythm made me do it
What can I say
The rhythm made me do it

[Verse 3]
He's walking real slow and I know he's checking me out
Officer please can you tell me what this is about
You're doing 105 and I'm lucky that you're still alive

[Chorus 3]
He says baby get behind the wheel
I want to make your tires squeal
Hey baby, like to make some noise
Turn it on, turn it up

[Chorus 2]

[Chorus 1]

[Chorus 3]

[Chorus 2][x2]

[Outro]
The rhythm made me do it
The rhythm got me high

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
