For a band that I named Silk Sonic

Silk Sonic (not to be confused with Silk City) is an R&B/Funk super-group, consisting of American singer-songwriters Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.

In 2021, the duo announced their debut album under this banner, titled An Evening With Silk Sonic, which was previewed by a single and guest-hosted by funk pioneer Bootsy Collins.

This album is not the first time these two have worked together. Paak had opened for Bruno on the European leg of his 24K Magic Tour in 2017. It was on this tour that the two started developing what would become Silk Sonic’s debut album.
