[Verse 1]
Coin in every pocket, more mouths to fill
So weak in the land, strong in the will (need)
I'll be your beast of burden
I'll be the seed
I'll bring you the healer, feel your disease
I bring dirty water and make it clean (young)
And you are the cure, I am the drug

[Chorus]
And we settle for a little bit more than everything
We're not elected, but we will speak
We're not the chosen, but we believe
And we settle for a little bit more than everything

[Verse 2]
Bullets, guns and missiles, a stone and a sling
A motherless country of thee I sing (song)
You are the tank and rockets, I am the bomb
I teach you a lesson, sword for a pen
Reading, turn the pages, a history of man (look)
You are tabula rasa, I am the book

[Chorus]
And we settle for a little bit more than everything
We're not elected, but we will speak
We're not the chosen, but we believe
And we settle for a little bit more than everything

[Bridge]
I'm a non-state actor
I'm a non-state actor
I'm a non-state actor
I'm a non-state actor
I'm a non-state actor

[Chorus]
And we settle for a little bit more than everything
We're not elected, but we will speak
We're not the chosen, but we believe
And we settle for a little bit more than everything

[Outro]
A little bit more
A little bit more
A little bit more
A little bit more

Soundgarden

One of the biggest rock bands out of Seattle, Soundgarden was formed in 1984 by singer and rhythm guitarist Chris Cornell, lead guitarist Kim Thayil, and bassist Hiro Yamamoto. Matt Cameron became the band’s full-time drummer in 1986, while bassist Ben Shepherd became a permanent replacement for Yamamoto in 1990. While one of the creators of the Grunge alternative rock and the first to sign to a major label, they only rose to stardom once the genre was popularized by Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains in the early 90s. After achieving great success with 1994’s Superunknown, the band decided to call it quits three years later due to internal squabbles. Eventually they reunited in 2010, releasing new album King Animal two years later. Frontman Chris Cornell committed suicide in a Detroit hotel room on May 17, 2017. He was 52 years old.
