[Myopia]
I can’t see, I can’t sleep
I can’t swim, I can’t talk
Can’t write, I can’t count
Can’t fly, can’t play today

Take your things and run away
Grab yourself a holiday
Fix your nose and change your name
Thyroid eyes they diagnose
Myopia

A red light stomach ache
Relax, but don’t be late
It’s too loud I’ve disappeared
I can’t drink, I can’t tell the time

Epic hero Gilgamesh
Battling with a lioness
One man war against the odds
Spectacles that break because
Myopia

I don’t think that I can afford ya
You make me ugly, anyhow
I think I see a car before me
Or maybe I’ve just hit a cow

[Los Endos]
[Instrumental]

[Imagining]
I've been out of touch again
From all that's happening around you
I've become a different man
Can't seem to stand still

It was all a big mistake
Once we were partners in crime
We went off our separate ways
Never performing in time, in time

Imagining (all the lies you were told)
Imagining (they were true, you withhold)
Imagining (is it real, or a myth?)
Imagining (in the world that we live)

You were still dependent on
Lovers on your terms, your terms
Could you entertain again?
Could you be losing your freedom, freedom?

Imagining (all the lies you were told)
Imagining (they were true, you withhold)
Imagining (is it real, or a myth?)
Imagining (in the world that we live)

Imagining
Imagining
Imagining...

Steve Hackett

Stephen Richard “Steve” Hackett (born 12 February 1950) is an English guitarist, musician, songwriter and singer. He gained prominence as lead guitarist of the British progressive rock group Genesis, which he joined in 1970 and left in 1977 to pursue a solo career. Hackett contributed to six Genesis studio albums, three live albums and seven singles.

In 1986, Hackett co-founded the supergroup GTR with another progressive guitarist, Steve Howe of Yes and Asia. The group released the self-titled album GTR, which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 in the United States and spawned the Top 20 single “When the Heart Rules the Mind”. When Hackett left GTR in 1987, the group disbanded.

After leaving GTR, Hackett resumed his solo career and has released albums and toured worldwide on a regular basis since. His body of work encompasses many styles, including progressive rock, world music, and classical. His playing has influenced guitarists such as Eddie Van Halen, Alex Lifeson, Brian May and Steve Rothery. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010.
