Songwriter: John Lennon

[Verse 1]
Here come old flattop, he come groovin' up slowly
He got joo-joo eyeball, he one holy roller
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker, he just do what he please

[Verse 2]
He wear no shoeshine, he got toe-jam football
He got monkey finger, he shoots Coca-Cola
He say, "I know you, you know me"
One thing I can tell you is you got to be free
Come together right now over me

[Verse 3]
He bag production, he got walrus gumboot
He got Ono sideboard, he one spinal cracker
He got feet down below his knees
Hold you in his armchair you can feel his disease
Come together right now over me

[Verse 4]
He rollercoaster, he got early warning
He got muddy water, he one mojo filter
He say, "One and one and one is three"
Got to be good-looking 'cause he's so hard to see
Come together right now over me

[Outro]
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together
Come together

The Brothers Johnson

The Brothers Johnson, formed by George (aka Lightnin' Licks) and Louis Johnson (aka Thunder Thumbs), were an american funk/rhythm ‘n blues duo. Years '75-'82–they had a split from 1982 to 1984–and then from '84-2015 (when Louis died).

Big success arrived with a cover of Shuggie Otis‘ cult classic, “Strawberry Letter 23.” Every album and song was produced by none other than Quincy Jones, seen here (center):
