[Intro: Diddy]
As we proceed to give you what you need
9-5, motherfuckers
Get live, motherfuckers
As we proceed to give you what you need
9-5, motherfuckers
Get live, motherfuckers
As we proceed—

[Verse 1: The Notorious B.I.G.]
Who shot ya? Separate the weak from the obsolete
Hard to creep them Brooklyn streets
It’s on nigga—fuck all that bickerin’ beef
I can hear sweat tricklin’ down your cheek
Your heartbeat sound like Sasquatch feet
Thunderin’, shakin’ the concrete
Then the shit stop when I foil the plot
Neighbors call the cops, said they heard mad shots
Saw me in the drop, three and a quarter
Slaughter, electrical tape around your daughter
Old school, new school need to learn though
I burn, baby, burn, like “Disco Inferno”
Burn slow like blunts with yayo
Peel more skins than Idaho Potato
The lyrical molesting is taking place
Fucking with B.I.G., it ain’t safe
I make your skin chafe, rashes on them asses
Bumps and bruises, blunts and Land Cruisers
Big Poppa smash fools, bash fools
Niggas mad because I know that cash rules
Everything around me, two Glock 9s
Any motherfucker whispering about mines
And I’m Crooklyn’s finest
You rewind this, Bad Boy’s behind this
Everything around me, two Glock 9s
Any motherfucker whispering about mines
And I’m Crooklyn’s finest
You rewind this, Bad Boy’s behind this

[Interlude: Diddy]
As we proceed to give you what you need
9-5, motherfuckers
Get live, motherfuckers
As we proceed to give you what you need

[Chorus: The Notorious B.I.G.]
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
You’ll die slow but calm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Brave nigga, turned front page nigga
Brave nigga, turned front page nigga

[Interlude: Diddy]
As we proceed to give you what you need
9-5, motherfuckers
Get live, motherfuckers
As we proceed to give you what you need

[Verse 2: The Notorious B.I.G.]
I seen the light excite all the freaks
Stack mad chips, spread love with my peeps
Niggas wanna creep, gotta watch my back
Think the Cognac and indo sack make me slack?
I switches all that, cocksucker G’s up
One false move, get Swiss cheesed up
Clip to TEC, respect I demand it
Slip and break the 11th Commandment
Thou shalt not fuck with nor see Poppa
Feel a thousand deaths when I drop you
I feel for you, like Chaka Khan I’m the don

[Interlude: The Notorious B.I.G.]
Come here, come here
Open your fucking mouth, open your
Didn’t I tell you don't fuck with me?
Huh, didn’t I tell you not to fuck with me?
Look at you now, huh?
Can’t talk with a gun in your mouth, huh?
Bitch-ass nigga, what?
Look at you now, huh?
Can’t talk with a gun in your mouth, huh?
Bitch-ass nigga, what?
What?

[Chorus: The Notorious B.I.G.]
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
You’ll die slow but calm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Pussy when I want, Rolex on the arm
Brave nigga, turned front page nigga
Brave nigga, turned front page nigga

[Outro: The Notorious B.I.G.]
I smoke the blunts he sips on the Baileys
I smoke the blunts he sips on the Baileys
I smoke the blunts he sips on the Baileys

The Notorious B.I.G.

Considered by many to be one of the greatest rappers of all time, The Notorious B.I.G. was a major figure in both hardcore hip-hop and 90’s pop music until his murder in 1997 at age 24. He’s best known for his #1 hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems,” his top 10 hits “One More Chance (Stay with Me Remix)” and “Big Poppa,” and his iconic early single “Juicy.”

In addition to his crossover hits, Biggie is known for innovative multi-syllabic lyricism and creative storytelling techniques, heard on critical favorites like “Warning,” “Suicidal Thoughts,” “Ten Crack Commandments,” “I Got A Story To Tell,” and “Gimme The Loot.”

As a teenager, Brooklyn native Christopher Wallace started rapping as Biggie Smalls, the name of a mobster character in the 1975 action comedy Let’s Do It Again. He recorded a demo with local Bed-Stuy DJ 50 Grand, which caught the attention of Mister Cee, who was well-known as Big Daddy Kane’s DJ. Cee introduced his demo to the industry, landing him a spot in The Source’s coveted “Unsigned Hype” column in the magazine’s March 1992 issue. Sean “Puffy” Combs, a successful A&R, also heard the demo and signed Big to Uptown Records.
