Producer: Cash Cash

[Verse 1]
When I get messed up at the party
I make a scene and get upset (Upset)
But when I wake up in the morning
You bring me breakfast in bed and act like there's nothin' to forget

[Pre-Chorus]
Maybe I should count my blessings
That you're just that type
So call me masochistic
But sometimes, I want to fight

[Chorus]
Every time I leave, you pull me closer
I hang up the phone, you call me back
Why don't you mess me 'round like you're supposed to?
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react
(React, react, react)

[Post-Chorus]
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

[Verse 2]
If I say jump, you just say "How high?" ("How high?")
I think you might love me to death
The way you do me, boy, you're too nice
You gas me up when I wanna be losin' my breath

[Pre-Chorus]
Maybe I should count my blessings
That you're just that type
So call me masochistic
But sometimes, I want to fight (Rrah)

[Chorus]
Every time I leave, you pull me closer
I hang up the phone, you call me back
Why don't you mess me 'round like you're supposed to? (Ah)
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react
Looking for a little confrontation
Now I know the nice guys turn me bad
The less you do, the more it makes me crazy (Crazy)
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react

[Post-Chorus]
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

[Chorus]
Every time I leave, you pull me closer (Pull me closer)
I hang up the phone, you call me back
Why don't you mess me 'round like you're supposed to? (Mess me 'round)
You're turning me cruel 'cause I'm just wanting you to react

The Pussycat Dolls

Initially working as a burlesque troupe, entrepreneur and artist, Robin Antin, founded “The Pussycat Dolls” and turned them into one of the most prominent girl bands of the 2000s. Seven girls–Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kaya Jones and Kimberly Wyatt–were signed in 2003 to Interscope Records. Their debut single “Sway” was released in 2004 to no success.

The group’s debut album PCD was released in 2005 to huge success, becoming top-five hits worldwide including in the UK Album Charts and the Billboard 200 and has sold nine million copies worldwide. It featured the group’s most popular songs such as “Don’t Cha”, “Stickwitu”, and “Beep”. “Don’t Cha” is one of the best-selling girl group songs of all time and “Stickwitu” earn the girls' a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance By a Duo or Group.

After the departure of Carmit Bachar, Doll Domination was released as their second and final album in 2008. It spawned hit singles such as “When I Grow Up” and “I Hate This Part”.
