[Verse 1]
I'm sitting in the darkness, you're dancing in the light
You really hit the big time, I really took a dive
I'm running in the rain, you're dancing in the light
I'm waiting for the train, that never will arrive
You left me twisting in the wind, dangling in the night
You'll be Mr. Christian and I'll be Captain Bligh
Look at you with your face all shining, got some new work and some realigning
Now that your nose got some redefining, you look like a million bucks
I got a sinking feeling, you and your wheeling dealing
I'm going to hit the ceiling, bang the ground with a bump
My whole world is crashing, I took a violent thrashing
Something to thrown the trash in, I'm in the garbage dump
What'd I ever do? You treat me so bad
You're living in a penthouse, my flat is dark and damp
Yeah, what's the matter, baby? We used to be so tight
I'm living in the gloom, while you're dancing in the light
Yeah, I got that sinking feeling, whose potatoes are you peeling?
Can't you hear my poor heart squealing? I'm in the garbage dump
Yeah, ah what' s happening?
Yeah
You're lying in the sunshine, I'm hanging in a cloud
You're basking in the spotlight, I'm lost in the crowds, yes

[Chorus]
What am I going to do about you?
What am I going to do?
What am I going to do about you?
What am I going to do?

[Verse 2]
I don't have a clue without you
What am I going to do?
I'm in a dark place, baby
I've got to, I've got to wear a grim face, baby
You've got me with the heartaches, yeah
Get me out of the dark place
What am I going to do without you? What am I going to do?
If I was your new boyfriend, I would have stage fright
While you're riding in a limo, I'm wheeling my bike, yeah

[Chorus]
What am I going to do without you?
What am I going to do?
What am I going to do without you?
What am I going to do?

[Outro]
Oh yeah, Oh yeah
Dancing in the light, Oh!
Yeah, oh yeah!

The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones led the “British Invasion” along with The Beatles and were so successful their influence can be seen in arguably every rock ‘n’ roll band that followed.

Three of the current members have been there since the band’s singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who write the majority of the band’s catalogue and also produced some albums as The Glimmer Twins; and drummer Charlie Watts. The fourth official member is guitarist Ronnie Wood, who has been there since 1975 (the keyboardist and bassist who play in studio and live are usually not listed). The Stones have released more than 20 studio albums, and even as age caught up on them, continued to be a huge attraction on the live circuit, with big stadium tours continuing through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s.
