[Verse 1]
Let me be the one to put your love on speed
Let me feng shui your shit
It tastes way better when you don't think you need it, oh
Bet you ain't never felt 3 AM feel like this like this, no
Like the moon's colliding, diamonds, baby can we soar

[Pre-Chorus]
There's something 'bout you
Baby we got to
Give it all that we got for the moment

[Chorus]
I can make a thug cry, tonight
Watch me make a thug cry, tonight
Cause that's how true love is supposed to be, ain't it?
When it feels so good it shakes all your belief, baby
I can make a thug cry, tonight
(I can make you cry tonight, tonight)
I can make a thug cry, tonight

[Verse 2]
Let me turn your pain into a kiss, yeah
Baby I can handle it
Baby won't you sip on this here?
Go on and relax, we can lay back
On the moon's colliding, diamonds, baby can we soar

[Pre-Chorus]
There's something 'bout you
Baby we got to
Give it all that we got for the moment

[Chorus]
I can make a thug cry, tonight
Watch me make a thug cry, tonight
Cause that's how true love is supposed to be, ain't it?
When it feels so good it shakes all your belief, baby
I can make a thug cry, tonight
(I can make you cry tonight, tonight)
I can make a thug cry, tonight

[Breakdown]
You think you a gangsta
But don't even play
Cause at the end of the day
You love when I call you my bae
Ain't that right?
You're all mine
You acting so gangsta
You swear that ya hard
But I got you wrapped around my finger
Yeah you be thanking the lord
You're all mine
Ain't that right

[Outro]
There's something about you
Baby we got to get lost in the moment
You and me only
Thug cry, tonight
Can you hear the thug cry tonight
Oh-oh-oh, tonight

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
