[Chorus; Skylar Grey]
I'll be sippin' Mai-Tais
Looking back at my life
Remembering the highlights
Thinking how the time flies
I'll be watching sunsets
And I won't have one regret
It's hard to see it at the moment
But in the end I know that
I'll be sippin'

[Verse 1; Train]
Mai-Tais sippin' in the middle of the afternoon
Daydream drinking, baby, here's to you
Looks like we made it and we ain't even through
It ain't even two and nothing compares to you

Making memories and some we might recall
Coming from the heart, not the alcohol
Swaying on a hammock and if we fall
We fall

[Chorus; Skylar Grey & Train]
I'll be sippin' Mai-Tais
Looking back at my life
Remembering the highlights
Thinking how the time flies
I'll be sippin' red wine
Looking back on my life
Remembering the stage fright
The butterflies at night
I'll be sippin'

[Post-Chorus; Skylar Grey & Train]
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
I'll be sippin'
La la la la la la la la
La la la
I'll be sippin'

[Verse 2; Train]
Boat drinks, most think umbrellas are to keep you dry
Truth is they were made for a Mai-Tai
Keep the sun out the glass, cherry close to the rim
Man the time goes fast when you're sippin'

Baby, you and me, add a palm tree
And when you love your neighbor baby then the sugar's free
When you love your neighbor that's the way it's supposed to be
I'm just glad your only neighbor's me

[Chorus; Skylar Grey & Train]
I'll be sippin' Mai-Tais
Looking back at my life
Remembering the highlights
Thinking how the time flies
I'll be sippin' red wine
Looking back on my life
Remembering the stage fright
The butterflies at night
I'll be sippin'

[Post-Chorus; Skylar Grey]
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la

[Bridge; Train]
Oh, do you remember?
What we did last night
Oh yeah that's right
Trading Vic's in the 510
Talking when we live the high life

Ride around the ocean in a big ass boat
And when it comes to breakfast baby I'm the GOAT
I'll start em over easy then we'll do a George and Weezy
And we'll get right back to making more good times

[Chorus; Skylar Grey & Train]
Mai-Tais
Looking back at my life
Remembering the highlights
Thinking how the time flies
I'll be sippin' red wine
Looking back on my life
Remembering the stage fright
The butterflies that night
I'll be watching sunsets
And I won't have one regret
Cause I love your every moment
And in the end I know that
I'll be sippin'

[Post-Chorus; Skylar Grey & Train]
La la la la la la la la
Red wine
La la la la la la la la
Oh oh
La la la la la la la la
Yeah
La la la
I'll be sippin'

Train

Train is an American rock band from San Francisco, formed in 1993. The band currently consists of Patrick Monahan (lead vocals), Luis Maldonado (guitar), Hector Maldonado (bass, vocals), Drew Shoals (drums), Jerry Becker (keyboards, guitar), Sakai Smith (backup vocals), and Nikita Houston (backup vocals).

With a lineup that included original members Monahan, Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford, Scott Underwood, and Charlie Colin, the band achieved mainstream success with their debut album Train, which was released in 1998 with the hit “Meet Virginia”. Train’s 2001 album, Drops of Jupiter contained the lead single “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)”, which won two Grammy Awards in 2002. The album was certified double platinum in the United States and Canada and remains the band’s best-selling album to date.

Train’s third studio album, My Private Nation, released in 2003, was certified platinum in the United States with the hit “Calling All Angels”. Following the departures of Hotchkiss and Colin, the band released their fourth album, For Me, It’s You in 2006, with Brandon Bush (keyboards) and Johnny Colt (bass). Despite a generally positive reception from critics, the album was commercially unsuccessful. Because of this, Train went on a two-year hiatus from recording any new music.
