[Verse 1]
Oh since my baby left me I've found new place to dwell
Down at the end on Lonely Street at Heartbreak Hotel

[Chorus]
I get so lonely baby I get so lonely baby I get so lonely I could die

[Verse 2]
And though it's always crowded you can still find some room
For broken hearted lovers to cry away the gloom

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
Well the bellhop's tears keep flowing the deskclerk's dressed in black
They've been so long on Lonely Street they'll never never never get back

[Chorus]

[Verse 4]
So if your baby leaves and you got a tale to tell
Just take a walk down Lonely Street to Heartbreak Hotel

[Chorus]

Willie Nelson

Willie Hugh Nelson (April 29, 1933) is a singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Abbott, TX and raised by his grandparents during the great Depression.

He achieved some success in the early 60’s as a crooner, a la Bobby Darin, but turned away from popular music to Country in the late 60s. His albums Shotgun Willie (1973), Red Headed Stranger (1975) and Stardust (1978) made him one of the most recognized artists in country music.

Nelson has released over 70 studio and live albums in his career, and still records and performs today.
