[Verse 1]
Blossom lipped ladies and men with a gleam in their eyes
Fat happy babies sit on their born thin mother's thighs
Picture a vow
Picture well

[Chorus]
I couldn't see the cracks in this fine social scene
I couldn't find the fault with this whole pantomime

[Verse 2]
All others laughing the jokes by the host, he's no man
All others dancing in couples to these session bands
Wearing smiles
Hot colt 45s

[Chorus]
I couldn't see the cracks in this fine social scene
I couldn't find the fault with this whole pantomime
I couldn't see the cracks in this fine social scene
I couldn't find the fault with this whole pantomime

[Bridge]
The cracks in this fine social scene
The fault with this whole pantomime
Cracks in this fine social scene
Fault with this whole pantomime

[Chorus]
I couldn't see the cracks in this fine social scene
I couldn't find the fault with this whole pantomime
I couldn't see the cracks in this fine social scene
I couldn't find the fault with this whole pantomime

Zero 7

Zero 7 is a UK downtempo duo, founded by Henry Binns & Sam Hardaker.

They began as studio engineers at Mickie Most’s RAK recording studio in London, engineering music for British groups like the Pet Shop Boys, Young Disciples, and Robert Plant.

The name Zero 7 was chosen after Binns and Hardaker spent time on the Honduran island Utila, which contained a bar named Cero Siete.
