Featuring: Ella Bands

Songwriter: Ella Bands A Boogie wit da Hoodie

[Intro]
Wheezy outta here

[Chorus: A Boogie wit da Hoodie with Ella Bands]
But if I tell you I don't wanna be a player (Oh, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah)
I could be your Clyde if you be my Bonnie, baby (Nah, nah, nah)
Give you my time only if you show me patience
Teach me how to love you, I ain't used to bein' famous
I could let you drive the Bentley, just don't drive me crazy
I could buy you Birkins, let you pick out any flavor
Yeah, I don't wanna be a player no more
I don't wanna be a player (Yeah)

[Verse 1: A Boogie wit da Hoodie]
I don't wanna be a player, I just wanna buy you flavors
Put Chanelly on your waist, I'm already on my way
Bring a friend if you feel anxious, you ain't ready yet? It's okay
If you ain't ready yеt, it's okay girl, yeah
It never usеd to be this way, used to 'preciate me, baby
My watch is over two-hundred, I ain't mean to make you feel basic
Can't fly every day like it's a special occasion (Look)
But baby, just love me for free, don't try to change me
'Cause you the only one that can save me and persuade me (That easy)
And you will never get the same me

[Chorus: A Boogie wit da Hoodie with Ella Bands]
But if I tell you I don't wanna be a player (Oh, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah)
I could be your Clyde if you be my Bonnie, baby (Nah, nah, nah)
Give you my time only if you show me patience
Teach me how to love you, I ain't used to bein' famous
I could let you drive the Bentley, just don't drive me crazy
I could buy you Birkins, let you pick out any place
Yeah, I don't wanna be a player no more
I don't wanna be a player

[Verse 2: Ella Bands, A Boogie wit da Hoodie & Both]
I know they feel a way, I don't wanna play no games
You buy me watches, I'll buy you chains
Treat me right, I'll do the same
I hate your player ways but I like expensive things
Show me that I'm my favorite, show me that I'm your favorite
I put my trust in you (Trust issues)
I just hope we don't end up like Adam and Eve (Adam and Eve), yeah
And if you give me one issue (One issue)
This magazine extended like the limousine (Yeah)
If you gonna ride for me, let's do just like Slim and Queen
I can meet you halfway there if you promise not to leave
Why would you wanna be my wife, when you can be my queen?
Bro, we gon' get along perfect

[Chorus: A Boogie wit da Hoodie with Ella Bands]
But if I tell you I don't wanna be a player (Oh, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah)
I could be your Clyde if you be my Bonnie, baby (Nah, nah, nah)
Give you my time only if you show me patience
Teach me how to love you, I ain't used to bein' famous
I could let you drive the Bentley, just don't drive me crazy
I could buy you Birkins, let you pick out any place
Yeah, I don't wanna be a player no more
I don't wanna be a player

A Boogie wit da Hoodie

Artist Julius Dubose (b. December 6, 1995), better known by the stage name A Boogie wit da Hoodie (or simply A Boogie) is an American rapper and singer from the Highbridge neighborhood of The Bronx.

The “A” in his name is short for his first name, “Boogie“ is a reference to his hometown, which is sometimes known as the Boogie Down Bronx, and “wit da Hoodie” simply comes from him constantly wearing hoodies.

A Boogie first rose to fame with the success of his underground hit “My Shit,” which was released on January 17, 2016. In February of that year, A Boogie released his debut mixtape, Artist. Then, in May, he and Don Q released Highbridge the The Takeover, Vol. 1, a collaborative mixtape.
