[Verse 1]
Hey, beautiful farm on the top of the hill
Whenever I pass by I'm thinking I will
Find someone like you, goodbye avenue
And then I'll be yearning for this too

[Chorus]
Over the treetops fly
Birds in the sky
Over the treetops high
High in the sky

[Verse 2]
Stop calling her restless, she moves with the sun
Gets out of her bed past noon, closer to one
I follow her mind, I follow her blind
She leaves and I'm two steps behind

[Chorus]
Over the treetops fly
Birds in the sky
Over the treetops high
High in the sky

[Bridge]
A trip is a fall
To fall is to trip
A trip is a fall
To fall is to trip
A trip is a fall
To fall is to trip
A trip is a fall

[Verse 3]
She changes how she feels about things, that's okay
It works for me, I think I like it that way
Nothing is true, something is false
Address the child as a whole

[Chorus]
Over the treetops fly
Birds in the sky
Over the treetops high
High in the sky

Over the treetops fly
Birds in the sky
Over the treetops high
High in the sky

Over the treetops fly
Birds in the sky
Over the treetops high
High in the sky

(spoken)
Thank you! Alright, erm, before we do the next one, looks like we in- have a few things to d- sort out. But, er, I'd like to take the opportunity then, while we're doing that, to introduce the musicians to you guys. Erm, our string section, our wonderful string section over here, is Madeleine Ossum, Emilie Lidsheim, and on cello, Tove Erikstad. And behind me, erm, on multiple instruments, a guy who arranged a lot and produced a lot of what you're hearing today, Mr. Lars Horntveth. On drums, a familiar face, Karl Oluf Wenneberg. Clearly you're all following him on Instagram or something. Yeah, he just got a lot of shit for leaking the news about this event a couple of weeks too early. Which is actually my fault, but I didn't know how to do it, so he got the blame. So, er, on bass, Even Ormestad. And, on keyboards, Morten Qvenild

a-ha

A-ha is a Norweigian synth pop group formed in 1982. All ten of their studio albums have either reached #1 or #2 in Norway – the first three also reaching the top 10 in several countries across Europe – with a total of over 35 million sold worldwide. They became a ‘teen pin-up band’ and were followed by screaming, enthusiastic fans. In 2012, all three members were appointed to knighthood in Norway for their contributions to music.

Frontman Morten Harket was lured away from the blues/soul group Soldier Blue in 1982 by keyboardist Magne Furuholmen to join his band with guitarist Paul Waaktaar. When Harket saw a song in Waaktaar’s notebook that was going to be titled either “a-ha” or “A-hem”, he suggested naming the band “a-ha”.

A year later, the band released their debut single “Take On Me” in 1984 to huge success in Norway. However, when the song was re-recorded and re-released alongside their debut album Hunting High And Low in the summer of 1985 it achieved massive international success, reaching #1 in eleven countries. Its success was definitely aided by its groundbreaking, award-winning music video of pencil-sketch animation combined with live-action shots.
