Songwriter: Björn Ulvaeus Agnetha Fältskog

Producer: Ludvig Andersson

[Intro: Benny]
"We have, uh... another song to play for you which is not written by Björn and me, but by Björn's old friend. Agnetha, the little blonde girl, you know. For a change. And she's also going to play the piano for the first time tonight, so give her a hand because I think she'd like that."

[Verse 1: Agnetha]
I was a loser then, but I'm a winner now
I'll do it all again 'cause now I know how
How everything in life comes down to this at last
Surviving and living, determined not to give in

[Chorus: Agnetha]
And I'm still alive, my life is rolling on
Gently from day to day, memories will fade away
Yes, I'm still alive, the agony is gone
And my mind is slowly waking
And my heart has ceased its aching
I'm still alive

[Verse 2: Agnetha]
I took so many blows, I cried a sea of tears
I took so many blows
And only heaven knows how I could stand the fear
And only heaven knows
I think of all the nights I lay alone and scared
All shattered and crying and thinking I was dying

[Chorus: Agnetha]
But I'm still alive, my life is rolling on
Gently from day to day, memories will fade away
Yes, I'm still alive, the agony is gone
And my mind is slowly waking
And my heart has ceased its aching
I'm still alive

[Chorus: Agnetha]
Yes, I'm still alive, my life is rolling on
Gently from day to day, memories will fade away
Yes, I'm still alive, the agony is gone
And my mind is slowly waking
And my heart has ceased its aching
I'm still alive
I'm still...

[Outro: Agnetha]
I'm still alive

ABBA

ABBA are one of the greatest pop outfits in history. Their blend of lush orchestrations and light, bouncy europop was both unique and commercially appealing, taking much of the world by storm.

The band name is a member-centric acronym – Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

Their meteoric rise was sparked by their famed Eurovision performance of original song “Waterloo”, which caused them to win the 1974 competition in Sweden.
