Yes Yes y'all
You don't stop
Yes Yes y'all
He is I and I am him
Silent satellite
Who sleeps in the planet's orbit
Intercepting transmissions
And translating waves into focus
He slumbered after his life
Was exiled to space
When he cried the sky
Opened up and sound waves would reign
Call me many names
I fought over
The serengetti plains
And swam across the oceans
And rested inside of many caves
Inhabited in cities
Observed life of those
Who posed as if their lives
Were something they
Lightly chose
Adam
Like the first man of the pattern
The building block of matter
Titan the moon of Saturn
The god of harvest
Born of the
Second ecclesiastic
Raised inside a cavern
Where drum beats
Were the pitter patter
And spitten rather than spoken
And crippled rappers approaching
And sickle axes were thrown when
Pictured after they posted
He fought an army just by holding a mic
And spoke with the force of god
Whenever he's holding it right
Instead he stood at the pulpit
And spoke to masses
Teaching people lessons
Rocking adidas gazelle glasses
And many challengers sought
To seek and battle him
Defeating these rappers
With oblique tactics and talents still
He spoke and mountains rose
And rivers formed a path in two
Still in his primitive form
Using hip hop vernacular
Knowledge built towers
And temples
Fostering growth
While lesser men grew
Tired of obeying his approach
And the people's word was will
And Adam obeyed
So he turned face and left behind
The great city he made
And they transmitted his power
To an ancient artifact
Locked inside the temple
A part of Adam detached
That anyone who held it
Could speak with Adam's voice
If times became so drastic
That they didn't have a choice
Now without a purpose
Adam stood an outsider
And used his last powers
To take his body higher
With a beam of light
He disappeared into the night
And left behind a perfect society
Blessed with peace and propriety
Gone behind the clouds
Generations would pass
Until Adam became a legend
In mythology class
But still
Some held the hope
That on the chance
Their order'd reach
That Adam would return
And hold the mic again and speak
We'd once again
Hear Adam's music
Filling the air
As the people raised their hands
Like they didn't have a care
So the centuries passed
And a sleeping giant slept
And above the skies
A star flickered
As Adam's fingers crept
Slowly with life returning
And inside a fire burning
He could feel the coming war
Where he'd be needed again
And with both eyes open
And a gasp of fresh air
As Adam's body
Descended fast through
Earth's atmosphere
Descending to the city
The cycle is now the same
And everyone listen up
Adam's about to speak again
