First, first time around
We were young and we were foolish
Didn't know what we were doing
First we're friends, now we're lovers
But we failed to discover
That we didn't know what we had
Took for granted you would be here
Always and forever so near
Life lesson learned
Love is give and take
But this time it's gonna be...

Better than ever (Mmmm)
Bettеr than ever (Yeah, yеah)
Better than ever (Better)
Better than ever (And better)
Better than ever (Than ever)
Better than ever (Mmm hmm)
Better than ever (Better)
Better than ever (Better)
Better than ever (Than ever)
Better than ever
Better than ever
Better than ever

Now, now that we're back together
What went wrong is whatever
With the past in the rear view
I can't front I really miss you baby
I just wanna kiss you right now
I took for granted you would be here
Always and forever so near
Life lesson learned
That love is give and take
But this time it's gonna be...

Wanted to let you go
But I can't, but I can't no
Tried to take it slow
But you make it hard for me
This time right here
This time I'm never gonna let you out my life again
No
This time right here
I promise that it's gonna be

Better than ever
Better than ever
Better than ever (It's gonna be)
Better than ever (It's gonna be)
Better than ever (Better)
Better than ever (Better than ever)
Better than ever (Better)
Better than ever
Better than ever (Oooh woo)
Better than ever
Better than ever (It's gonna be)
Better than ever (Better than ever)

Better, better, better than ever babe, babe
Better than ever
Better, better, better, better than ever
It's gonna be better than ever
