[Intro]
I don't need you, I don't need you
I don't need you, I don't need you...
I don't mean to, I don't mean to
I don't mean to, I don't mean to

[Verse 1]
I came inside your house and put my feet up on your couch
And I knew good and well I wasn't staying forever
I took a nap, I got a text, I woke up and washed my hands, then I left
I knew you would let me
You hit my phone like, "Where you at? You coming back? It's getting late, hurry up"
It was past eleven
It's funny how a late text synonymous to most people's last chance to get into heaven
She think that that I really like her
'Cause I gave her the rest of my hot and spicy
But I wasn't tripping, it was only one dollar
Please tell me that you're worth more than a dollar, uh
We should put 'em on a collar
'Cause they always fetching a bone
Just put on some cheap cologne
Three weeks later on a late night you gonna get a long text message sent to your phone saying
"I don't need you, I don't need you"
And I'ma look at it
But I ain't gonna read it
I'm not knocking get anyone who does this
I did the same thing once before a while ago
And the only letter that I got back was "O"
So not be no caring no more
I'ma make sure that you know
I need me a miracle
Stab in my heart but I ain't got no feeling no
Back in the church and I'm singing these spirituals
Don't need no milk, I got tears on my cereal
Coming out the bowl, I'm drowning these Cheerios
Who's on my side? I just need some peripheral vision
I'm tryna bring God to attention
Stuck in the kitchen but ain't cooking nothing
I'm huffing and puffing and sneezing and cussing
Look up and see it and we get the lesson
And we get the onion and we get to touch it
But let me shut up, it's not up for discussion
Ha!

[Chorus]
What's the worst thing I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long, and good night
So long
I don't care if it ain't mine
I'll take it, I'll break it and won't feel bad for it
I ain't lying
I just be looking at you like, "What did I do?"
I'm not worth it
Don't acknowledge me, no
Don't waste your time with me
I'm not worth it, no, no, no
Don't take me for real
Don't take me for real
I'm childish and I play too much
I'm childish and I play too much
I don't wanna feel
I don't wanna feel
The truth is that it hurts too much
The truth is that it hurts too much
Yeah
What's the worst thing I can say?
Things are better if I stay
Looking at you
I'm not, I'm not worth it

[Outro]
What's the worst thing I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long, and good night
So long and goodnight
I came inside your house and put my feet up on your couch
And I knew good and well I wasn't staying forever
I took a nap, I got a text, I woke up and washed my hands, then I left
I knew you would let me
You hit my phone like, "Where you at? You coming back? It's getting late, hurry up"
It was past eleven
It's funny how a late text anonymous to most people's last chance to get into heaven
