You were late last night, the candle burned so low
And in my darkest hour I knew you had to go
Did he hold you like I held you once before
Is there someone else that loves you even more
Don't tell me

Standing face to face the words just fall away
But in my loneliness I knew just what to say
Did he touch you where I touched you long ago
Please don't answer, I don't really want to know
So don't tell me

Don't tell me
Don't tell me
Don't tell me
Don't tell me

I have no more to give you
I have no room to share
I know the road I follow going nowhere
I have no more to give you
I have no room to share
I know the road I follow going nowhere
Don't tell me
Don't tell me
Don't tell me

Should I close my eyes and say I'm giving up
Can we compromise the darker side of love
Did he hold you like I held you once before
Since I lost your love I need you even more
So don't tell me lies

I have no more to give you
I have no room to share
I know the road I follow going nowhere
Don't tell me
I have no more to give you
I have no room to share
I know the road I follow going nowhere
Don't tell me
I have no more to give you
I have no room to share
I know the road I follow going nowhere
Don't tell me

Don't tell me
Don't tell me
Don't tell me
Don't tell me

Air Supply

Air Supply are a soft rock duo formed in 1975. From 1980-1985 the band had a string of hits that charted well in the US, Canada, New Zealand and their homeland Australia.

After Graham Russell’s music was ignored by bandmates in two previous bands, he auditioned for and won a part as a chorus member in a Melbourne production of Jesus Christ Superstar. This is where he met and teamed up with Russell Hitchcock, who had missed the JCS auditions in Sydney – so he flew to Melbourne and landed a spot in the same chorus.

The two submitted a demo of two songs – “Love And Other Bruises” and “If You Knew Me” to CBS Records and got signed. The former went to #3 in Australia, so they assembled session musicians, released their self-titled debut album, and toured Australia.
