(Chorus)
Living in the slums, where the poor are alone
Living life trapping, spraying Gucci cologne
Living life drunk, off of Goose and Patron
Welcome to the place I call home
Dying over nothing, getting slugged in the dome
Dying over white, ‘cah the foods on [?]
Dying for the jewels, so you work with the stones
Welcome to the place I call home

(Verse 1)
I went and chirpsed the yatty in Armarni [?]
She gives me discounts, but I hardly text
If you wanna take my soul, you have to see me first
I’ll make these yutes Bale, when they see the spurs
Pineapple chunks, [?]
Max prof, when I chop I don’t bun shit
Niggas stay seated, ‘cah you don’t run shit
I’ve got a [?], that’ll dump clips
Don’t think you turnt’ bad, cause you got attacked
I see you buying dumb shit, and you ain’t got a stack
You sell a little bit of draw, but you don’t really trap
My nigga Ets is OT, solid chopping crack
You niggas never, touched food in your life
Stressing because you ain’t broke, and getting robbed for bike
Harsh cold winters, I was up through the night
OT with [?], [?] for the pies

(Chorus)
Living in the slums, where the poor are alone
Living life trapping, spraying Gucci cologne
Living life drunk, off of Goose and Patron
Welcome to the place I call home
Dying over nothing, getting slugged in the dome
Dying over white, ‘cah the foods on [?]
Dying for the jewels, so you work with the stones
Welcome to the place I call home

(Verse 2)
You could never take me for a side yute
Fuck what you could do, I will let the nine, boot
Direct with the threats, ‘cah i’m bored now
Every rapper thinks they’re tough, and they’re raw now
You talk about your dreams but they’re limitations
Me I really do it, fuck the imitations
Trapping out and splashing out, the way I do its gracious
I’m from Trini, but i’ve got some wicked Haitians
Tell them twitter bad boys, get back in your stations
Thirteen, on the block, thats initiation
I don’t rate the police, ‘cah we really hate them
And our bands make her dance, yeah we really made them
I’m tryna hustle, but these niggas in the station
Nitty’s scrapping jakes, are telling me that’s my creation
My connect is taking long, thats anticipation
My dons [?] few black, and a couple asians

(Chorus)
Living in the slums, where the poor are alone
Living life trapping, spraying Gucci cologne
Living life drunk, off of Goose and Patron
Welcome to the place I call home
Dying over nothing, getting slugged in the dome
Dying over white, ‘cah the foods on [?]
Dying for the jewels, so you work with the stones
Welcome to the place I call home

AJ Tracey

AJ Tracey is a British rapper and grime MC. His dad’s a former rapper from Trinidad, and his mum is a Welsh former drum and bass DJ. Based in Ladbroke Grove, West London (although he was raised in the south just like FT and true say, his dad lived in Tottenham), AJ started making waves in the pirate radio scene in 2014, although his songs under the name Looney date back to 2011.

Speaking to GRM about his stage name, AJ

Basically when I used to shot, I couldn’t give my real name. I used to wear loads of Armani, so I called myself AJ. The Tracey comes from this guy called Stacey in my ends. Everyone used to be/is scared of him so I thought, if a man has a girl’s name and he’s still scaring people, the maybe I should try doing it so I can be THAT guy.
