[Verse 1]
We are lost and lonely people
And we're lookin’ for a reason and it's alright
So let's celebrate the dreamers
We embrace the space between us ’cause it's alright
We're all in this boat together
And we're sailin' toward the future and it's alright
We can't make the whole thing better
We're the authors of forever and it’s alright

[Chorus]
We arе on born on our own
And we die on our own
And we’rе here to make meanin'
Of what happens in between
We could hate, we could love
We could doubt, we could trust
But we’re here to make meanin'
For as long as we're breathin'
And it’s alright

[Post-Chorus]
Wherever you are, it's alright
Whoever you are, it's alright

[Bridge]
If you find love, it feels like it's the first time
God only knows it will be the last time
If you find love, it feels like it's the first time
God only knows it will be the last time

[Verse 2]
Where there's light, there must be a shadow
Cloudy skies and rain make a rainbow
We are builders, we are breakers
We are givers, we are takers and it's alright
We are seven billion stories
And we know the faith and glory and it's alright
Alright, oh

[Chorus]
We are on born on our own
And we die on our own
And we're here to make meanin'
Of what happens in between
We could hate, we could love
We could doubt, we could trust
But we're here to make meanin'
For as long as we're breathin'
And it's alright

[Post-Chorus]
Wherever you are, it's alright
Whoever you are, it's alright
Wherever you are, it's alright
Alright

[Outro]
If you find love, it feels like it's the first time
God only knows it will be the last time
If you find love, it feels like it's the first time
God only knows
