[Verse 1: Aminé & Summer Walker]
I know this ship is sailed and this is dead
I'm singin', "RIP," I'm singin', "RIP," yeah
I know you gave up long time ago
Boy, I'm singin', "RIP," I'm singin', "RIP"
But all I need's some

[Pre-Chorus: Both, Aminé & Summer Walker]
Lovin', some fuckin'
And you say this shit don't matter
But we always goin' at it, ain't no trustin'
I need some lovin', good, good fuckin'
And we fussin' and we fight, and you always wonder why
And my mama told me, "None of this should come as a surprise"

[Chorus: Aminé & Summer Walker, Aminé]
'Cause love don't come easy, it don't come easy
Love don't come easy, yeah, givin' up easy
Love don't come easy, it don't come easy
It don't come easy
Times get hard, but nothing's easy

[Verse 2: Summer Walker, Aminé & Both]
Let's go out
Let's try it out, uh
You don't hear me out, yeah
That's why you always run your mouth, uh
We been talking 'bout our love's runnin' out
But you don't hear me out, yeah
That's why you always run your mouth
And all I need's some

[Pre-Chorus: Both, Aminé & Summer Walker]
Lovin', some fuckin'
And the sex is still compatible
But I ain't got no manual for trustin'
I need some lovin', good, good fuckin'
You say something isn't right, only fuckin', gettin' high
And my daddy told me, "Hold your heart in order to survive"

[Chorus: Aminé & Summer Walker, Summer Walker]
'Cause love don't come easy, it don't come easy
Love don't come easy, yeah, givin' up easy
Love don't come easy, it don't come easy (No, no)
It don't come easy
Times get hard, but nothing's easy

[Outro: Summer Walker & Aminé]
Tell your man you trust him
Tell your girl you love her
Tell your dad you miss him
And call your mom and thank her
Tell your daughter you love her
And tell your son you're proud of him
Tell yourself you got this
'Cause these times get hard, but nothing's easy
