You wrapped around me
You wrapped around me
You wrapped around me
Oh!

[Verse 1]
I ain't talking junk
But I know what you want
And I ain't gotta do nothing extra just to get ya
Give me my respect
If you get no sex
I'll still have you boy (wrapped around me)
I got you wrapped around
Like surround sound
I'm no pigeon picking and I'm not finger licking
I'm your numero uno
And I bet that you know
I'd still have you boy (wrapped around me)

[Chorus]
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)

[Verse 2]
I'm just talking slick
That's the way it goes
And you can throw your freaks out like a demo
I'm the special one
Easy to see
Boy I know I got ya (Wrapped around me)
That's why you buy me things
Treat me like a queen
Got my pinky ring flooded
Call me ice cream
I'm the chick that you pick
And I know you never leave cause I got ya (wrapped Around me)

[Chorus]
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)

[Bridge: Missy]
It's all about (me)
You're so in love with (me)
Don't ever doubt (me)
You're wrapped around (me)
They wanna be like (me)
That's why they act like (me)
But I ain't trippin' cause you're (wrapped around me)
It's all about (me)
You're so in love with (me)
Don't ever doubt (me)
You're wrapped around (me)
They wanna be like (me)
That's why they act like (me)
But I ain't trippin' cause you're (wrapped around me)

[Chorus]
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)
Listen to me oh
I know I'm not perfect and all
You know that I know
There's no denying cause I got ya (wrapped around me)

Beyoncé

In the twenty-first century, no pop star was as poised, as polished, or as generally fierce as Beyoncé. She scored early success with Destiny’s Child, who started out as a sexier and sassier (if less adult) version of TLC, then steadily became more and more of a vehicle for Beyoncé’s operatic vocals and general diva-tude, which may have been the plan all along.

Whether appearing in TV spots, co-starring in films like Dreamgirls, or killing it every night on stadium tours, Beyoncé was omnipresent in the 2000s. Almost everybody, Beygency member or otherwise, loved shiny, hip-hop-fueled hits like “Crazy in Love”, and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”. Moving into the 2010s, Beyoncé fights on, gaining more and more traction in pop culture with her work and music.

She has made a significant impact upon the music landscape in general with her recent albums 4 and BEYONCÉ, which explored complex themes like motherhood, feminism, marriage, sexuality, and doubt in a greater depth. With Lemonade, she went a step further—the fierce, intimate exploration of marriage, infidelity, and forgiveness was her most personal and musically daring album yet.
