(Think about the future)
(Tomorrow people)
(This is the future)

[Vere 1]
A time warp scene
A sci-fi story
A dirt-coloured love
You hope for glory
I like to fight, I kill global oppression
If I quit, no hope of redemption

[Chorus]
Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long?
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long?
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people

[Verse 2]
Well, you know I'm free on arrival
Left behind my babe, by guilt of survival
I don't know where I'm runnin' to
I lost my love, lost my hold
I lost my heaven too

[Chorus]
Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long?
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long?
Tomorrow people, wow

Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long?
Tomorrow people, yeah
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long? Soon come
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people, yeah come on loud

[Bridge]
Now my life is truly misspent
I said
I'm here to tell you, to tell you
That I won't repent
World War III
Death pain
It's fate lets do it again

Tomorrow man
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow man
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow man

[Verse 3]
A time warp scene
A sci-fi story (Tomorrow people)
A dirt-coloured sky (Tomorrow people)
New hope for glory (Tomorrow man)
I like to fight
I kill global oppression (Tomorrow people)
When I quit, new hope for redemption
(Tomorrow people)

[Chorus]
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
