[Intro]
Aha aha
Aha aha

[Verse 1]
You know you, me, we are so lonely
You look to me I'll be there, my only
'Cause you say you want me

And you say that you need me
It won't be long and I'll be holdin'
'Cause you say you want me

[Chorus]
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
One touch of Venus
Mmm, yeah yeah
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
I said, yeah yeah

[Verse 2]
I know we'll take a ride
We'll pass the stars and be home tonight
'Cause you, me, way above the stars (stars)
We ain't dreamin'
And we're livin'

[Chorus]
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
One touch of Venus
Mmm, yeah yeah
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
I said, yeah yeah

Ain't I got the might
Ain't I got the right
Aha aha, for a touch of Venus

[Bridge]
Aha aha
You me, we ain't so far from home
You me, we ain't got far to go
You me, here above the stars

[Chorus]
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
One touch of Venus
Mmm, yeah yeah

One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
One touch of Venus
Mmm, yeah yeah

One touch of Venus, c'mon
One touch of Venus, yeah yeah
One touch of Venus
And she'll receive us
I said, yeah yeah

(Way above the stars) Ain't I got the right
(Way above the stars) For a touch of Venus
(Way above the stars) Ain't I got the right
(Way above the stars) For a touch of Venus

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
