[Verse 1]
If you're waiting for a call
There's double trouble, the pressure of it all
This line is due for communication
Not if you've lost all reason

[Chorus]
Crank call, yeah
Ain't no fun at all (oo)

[Verse 2]
They want love, they want a pantomime
To cut you in two, that's a sexual crime
They dig the dirt they deal in
They dig the dirt they feed on

[Chorus]
Crank call, ow
Ain't no fun at all

[Bridge]
Oh yeah, all right
We don't waste time tonight
Oh yeah, all right
Why waste time tonight?
Oh yeah, all right
I'm mad and I might[?]
Tonight
Ow!

[Guitar solo]

There's nothing new in heaven or hell
Hate has taken control
They're breakin' the kids
They're beating the bids
And that is all they feed on

[Chorus]
Crank call (oh)
Ain't no fun at all (uh huh)

[Outro]
Oh yeah, all right
Why waste time tonight?
Oh yeah, all right
I'm mad and I'm right[?]
Oh yeah, all right
Why waste time tonight?
Oh yeah, all right
I'm mad I'm might[?]
Tonight
Oh yeah, all right
Why waste time tonight?
Oh yeah, all right
You know I'm mad I'm all right[?]
Oh yeah, all right
Why waste time tonight?
Oh yeah, all right
I'm mad, and I bite[?]
Tonight

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
