[Verse 1]
Passing the match test?
That's some kind of tease, because everything rests on the moment the little flame sees
Let's go boom boom in the zoom zoom room

If you get past that brief little flash, take down my number with your pencil moustache
Play truth or dare in the light of a strike anywhere
Don't follow the fallen already lying down there

[Chorus]
Let's go boom boom in the zoom zoom room
Oh yeah, uh huh
Boom boom in the zoom zoom room

[Verse 2]
I'll be the cause you can champion
Your scarlet companion
And won't it be fine?
Keeping my head above water
I'm no farmer's daughter
No clinging vine

When we trip the light fantastic, a feeling so rare, it will follow your features aligned by the glare

[Chorus]
Let's go boom boom in the zoom zoom room
Let's go boom boom in the zoom zoom room

[Verse 3]
I'll be the cause you can champion
Your scarlet companion
And won't it be fun?
I'll keep my head above water
I'm no farmer's daughter
No clinging vine

Passing the match test and no one says thank you because they're gone just as fast as a breeze

[Outro]
Boom boom in the zoom zoom room
Yeah, let's go boom
Boom boom in the zoom zoom room
Ah, let's go, let's go boom boom in the zoom zoom room

Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles including “Call Me”, “Atomic” and “Heart of Glass” and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, rap, and reggae, while retaining a basic style as a new wave band.
