Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Don't you see what love has done

I pass your window by
I pass your door an' your window too
I pass your door an' your window too
Yes I'm still very much in love with you

Well I pass your window, pass your door
You pass my window and you pass my door
You pass my window and you pass my door
But you never get by my 44

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Can't you see what your love has done to me

Well I pass your door, I pass your gate
You pass my door an' you pass my gate
Yes you pass my door an' you pass my gate
But you don't pass by my 38

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Don't you see what your love has done to me

You can pass my house, son-of-a-gun
You can pass by my house, you female son-of-a-gun (daughter of pistol)
You can pass by my house, you son-of-a-gun
But you can't pass by my 41

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Can't you see what your love has done to me

You can pass my nest and you can pass my hive (my what?)
You can pass my nest and you can pass my hive
You can pass my nest and you can pass my hive
But you won't pas by my 45

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Can't you see what your love has done to me

You can pass by my window pane
Pass right by my window pane
You can pass right by my window pane
But you can't pass by my 41 again

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Can't you see what your love has done to me

You can throw your stones, you can throw your sticks
Throw your stones, throw your sticks
You can throw your stones, you can throw your sticks
But you can't pass by my thirty old six

Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love
Love, oh love, oh careless love

Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan (born Robert Zimmerman May 24, 1941), is an American singer-songwriter, writer, and artist who has influenced popular music and culture for more than five decades. Dylan has especially played a critical role in the American folk music revival.

Dylan’s songs are built from myriad political, social, philosophical and literary influences. Many of his anti-war and civil-rights-influenced songs set social unrest, as journalists widely named him the “spokesman for his generation” in the 1960s.

The musician has a signature change in voice and style in many different albums of his throughout the decades. He has notably explored and experimented with the genres of folk, rap, blues, and rock.
