[Verse 1]
You're sweet (you're sweet) as a honey bee
But like a honey bee stings
You've gone and left my heart in pain
All you left (all you left) is our favorite song
The one that we danced to all night long
It used to bring (ooh) sweet memories (memories)
Of a tender love that used to be

[Chorus]
Now it's the same old song
But it's a different meaning
Since you been gone
Now It's the same old song
But with a different meaning
Since you been gone

[Verse 2]
Sentimental fool am I
To hear a old love song
And wanna cry
But the melody keeps haunting me
Reminding me how in love we used to be
Keep hearing the part that used to touch our hearts
Stay together forever darlin'
Breaking up never

[Chorus]
Now it's the same old song
Different meaning since you been gone
Now It's the same old song
But with a different meaning
Since you been gone

(Reach out)
Come on, girl
Reach out for me
(Reach out)
Reach out for me baby

Now if you feel like you can't go on
Because all of your hope is gone
And your life is filled with much confusion
Until happiness is just an illusion
And your world around is crumbling down
Well darlin'
(Reach out) Come on, girl, reach out for me
(Reach out) Reach out for me

I'll be there with a love that'll shelter you
I'll be there with a love that'll see you through

When you're feeling lost and about to give up
'Cause your life just ain't good enough
And you feel the world has grown cold
And you're drifting out on your own
And you need somebody's hand to hold, darlin'
(Reach out) Reach out, reach out for me baby
(Reach out) Reach out

I'll be there to love and to comfort you
And I'll be there to cherish and care for you

Oh, and I'll be there to always see you through
And I'll, I'll be there for you, baby, just look over your shoulder, oh...

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
