My momma always called her little devvi
Ain't that strange to daddy's little girl
Don't know why I felt the need to say it
She's the only things that's been running
Still running through my mind

I used to be the one that called her baby
Used to be the one
Used to be the one she called at night
I Used to be the one that called her baby
These days I can't even call her mine

Was a time I called her every morning
Used to tell her I missed her in my dreams
I ain't got no one to talk to
And dreaming is the only way I can have her here with me

I Used to be the one that called her baby
Used to be the one
Used to be the one she called at night
I Used to be the one that called her baby
These days I can't even call her mine

She used to say that we would be forever
She made me think that we would last for
She used to say that we would always be together
Then she used to tell me lies

[Instrumental Break]

I used to be the one that called her baby
Used to be the one
Used to be the one she called at night
I used to be the one that called her baby
These days whoa

I used to be the one that called her baby
Used to be the one
Used to be the one she called at night (mhm)
I used to be te one who called her baby (oh)
These days I can't even call her mine

I can't even call her mine (yeah)
