[Verse 1]
We don't really talk like we used to
Just 128 characters or less
And we don't really love like we used to
Is anyone willing to clean up the mess

[Pre-Chorus]
Are children fit for our mistakes?
The planet is about to take a fall
What if it breaks, what will it cost?

[Chorus]
Oh, we gotta take it back
All the way back to the beginning
We're gonna make it back
Back to the days when we were winning
Tell me we're not due for a change
I know I'm ready and willing
To die for this
Are you down for this?
Metamorphosis, Genesis

[Verse 2]
We don't take a stand like we used to
We're always a dollar short or a day too late
Cause we don't give a damn like we used to
Just a whole lot of talking with nothing to say

[Pre-Chorus]
Are children fit for our mistakes?
The planet is about to take a fall
What if it breaks, what will it cost?

[Chorus]
Oh, we gotta take it back
All the way back to the beginning
We're gonna make it back
Back to the days when we were winning
Tell me we're not due for a change
I know I'm ready and willing
To die for this
Are you down for this?
Metamorphosis, Genesis

[Bridge]
Genesis
Metamorphosis
Die for this
Are you down for this
Metamorphosis
Genesis
Metamorphosis
Die for this
Are you down for this
Metamorphosis

[Chorus]
Oh, we gotta take it back
All the way back to the beginning
We're gonna make it back
Back to the days when we were winning
Tell me we're not due for a change
I know I'm ready and willing
To die for this
Are you down for this?
Metamorphosis, Genesis
