[Verse 1]
Don't put me off, 'cause I'm on fire
And I can't quench my desire
Don't you know that I'm burning up for your love?
You're not convinced that that is enough
I put myself in this position
And I deserve the imposition
But you don't even know I'm alive
And this pounding in my heart just won't die
I'm burning up

[Chorus]
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
For your love

[Verse 2]
You're always closing your door
And that only makes me want you more
And day and night, I cry for your love
You're not convinced that that is enough
To justify my wanting you
Now tell me what you want me to do
I'm not blind, and I know
That you want to want me, but you can't let go
C'mon, let go

[Chorus]
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
I'm burning up, burning up for your love
For your love, oh

[Post-Chorus]
Do you wanna see mе down on my knees?
Or bending over backwards, now, would you be plеased?
Unlike the others, I'd do anything
I'm not the same, I have no shame
I'm on fire

I'm on fire

C'mon, let go

I'm on fire, I'm on fire
I'm on fire, I'm on fire

Do you wanna see me down on my knees?
Or bending over backwards, now, would you be pleased?
Unlike the others, I'd do anything
I'm not the same, I have no shame
I'm on fire

[Outro]
(Burning up for your love) Come on, I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Ooh, yeah, I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Oh come on, oh come on, I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Uh, uh, uh
I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Ooh, yeah, I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Oh come on, oh come on, I'm burning up
(Burning up for your love) Ah, ah ah, I'm burning up

Britney Spears

Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer and actress. Born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, she performed acting roles in stage productions and television shows as a child before signing with Jive Records in 1997.

Spears’s first and second studio albums, …Baby One More Time and Oops!… I Did It Again, became international successes, with the former becoming the best-selling album by a teenage solo artist. Title tracks “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” broke international sales records, with the former reaching number one in every country it charted in. In 2001, Spears released her self-titled third studio album, Britney, and played the starring role in the film Crossroads (2002). She assumed creative control of her fourth studio album, In the Zone, which yielded the worldwide success of the single “Toxic.”

In 2007, Spears’s much-publicized personal issues sent her career into hiatus. Her fifth studio album, Blackout, was released later that year, and spawned hits such as “Gimme More” and “Piece of Me”.
