*Gunshots*
God damn!
Yeah, oh yeah
It's John Doe, John Doe
Yeah

[Chorus: DOE]
Home of the greats, hold on the ground of the United States
Hey, New York, quit playin', New York, bro
New York, Manhattan, New York, y'all
New York, Long Island, New York, Queens
New York, Staten Island, New York fiends

[Verse 1: DOE]
Baby don't you cry, when your father pays that dough, I'll let you go
I can't [?]
I got your kid and your wife
And you want me to give the wind pipe a slice
Matter fact, fuck this knife, this shit is too sloppy
I get the job done, shoot 'em one shot each
'Cause I won't have to aim it right where your vein is
It [?], give you brain damage, man
Just made the dinner Danish, (You) want to be famous
Say the wrong words, took me your judgement day
I'mma commit forgery, lord I ain't do it
Warring like Palestine and Jewish, let's do this
Open fire like Ferguson on them Long Island commuters
Smuggle a pound of the voodoo down to Bermuda
Loading the rounds in the [?]
Shot, you spin around, shoot ya'
Hit the ground, get your suit on, your shoes off, you sloozer
I'm 'bout to make your eye blacker than Lou Raw's
New York, there's a new boss so move off

[Chorus: DOE]
Home of the greats, hold on the ground of the United States
Hey, New York, quit playin', New York, bro
New York, Manhattan, New York, y'all
New York, Long Island, New York, Queens
New York, Staten Island, New York fiends

[Verse 2: Busta Rhymes]
Come and get where Busta Rhymes was brewing a lot of crime knowing I'm only trying to warn you niggas
Listen up, where niggas wait for the stick up and niggas wait for the pick up
Hang on block smoke, blunt sick back 'til we hiccup
Hold Glocks, fuck stunts, sell crack 'til we get up
Enough stock in box trucks so stay away from the mixup
All the public school niggas got to giving their kicks up
Older niggas focus on money while picking their bricks up
Same place were bitches tote dealers with two shots
Home of the greatest niggas, birthplace of 2Pac
The place were niggas hustle until every corner too hot
From the police to other niggas tryna take what you got
My nigga too hot to drop, hustle will never stop
The home where young entrepreneur niggas roll in the lot
The home of creating the 'flection, need apartment drug spot
Where the city never sleeps, word placed to hip-hop

[Chorus: DOE]
Home of the greats, hold on the ground of the United States
Hey, New York, quit playin', New York, bro
New York, Manhattan, New York, y'all
New York, Long Island, New York, Queens
New York, Staten Island, New York fiends

[Outro: DJ Whoo Kid]
